Deli & Wine in Clayton, MO is looking for a skilled and dependable full-time Line Cook to join our team. Connected to the well-known Pastaria, we specialize in handcrafted sandwiches, salads, wraps, and provisions — and we take pride in the quality of every dish we serve. In this role, you'll be responsible for prepping and executing menu items to spec during our morning and midday service window (9am–4pm). You'll also play a key role in supporting our active catering program, which requires strong organization, consistency, and the ability to scale production efficiently. No late nights — this is a daytime kitchen with a predictable, quality-of-life-friendly schedule.
We're looking for someone with real line experience who can handle a fast pace without cutting corners on quality. You should be comfortable with knife work and prep fundamentals, able to follow recipes precisely, and reliable enough to show up ready every day. Experience in a deli, sandwich, or fast-casual kitchen is a big plus. A food handler card is a bonus but not required to apply.
